Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade returns in 2025!

On March 2, 2025, Pima County’s companion animals will once again take to the streets for the 4th annual Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade and Friends of PACC Festival.

In addition to hundreds of animals of all sizes and shapes, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, pocket pets, and farm pets, the Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade will showcase bands, floats, entertainers, costumed characters, cool vehicles, and other entertainments. The parade, one of Tucson’s most beloved events, is produced by Friends of Pima Animal Care Center to raise awareness and financial support for animal life-saving programs at Pima Animal Care Center, the largest and only open-admission shelter in Pima County.

The parade takes place from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the Friends of PACC Festival along 7th Street, featuring live entertainment, HSL Properties Adoption Extravaganza, a large vendor fair, and fun activities for people and pets alike. The festival runs until 2 p.m.

Registration is now open at www.petsofpimaparade.com.

People are encouraged to join the fun with their pets while supporting homeless and vulnerable animals in the community. To join the parade, participants are asked to raise $50 or more, with all funds supporting animal life-saving programs at PACC. Kids 17 & under can register for free with their families, making the parade a fun outing for the whole family, fur-babies and all. Businesses, schools, and service organizations are encouraged to join the parade as well by hosting a team or float.

This year, the parade is partnering with other local animal welfare non-profit organizations to raise More 4 All Animals. Animal welfare non-profits are invited to fundraise for their organization by having a team in the parade. By working together with other shelters and rescues across Pima County, the parade can help raise more support to save animals.

FOX11 and CW18 will again be televising this year’s parade, bringing the pageantry into homes across the community.

The parade and festival are made possible through the efforts of the Friends of PACC Parade Organizing Committee and support from Tucson Subaru, Central Pet, Raising Cane’s, HSL Properties, Nature Med, Geico, TEP, A Loyal Companion, One Hour AC & Heating, University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine, Better Business Bureau, Fox11/CW18, iHeartMedia, Arizona Daily Star/Tucson Media, Corbett’s, Tucson Dog Magazine, Arizona Music Connection, Fourth Avenue Merchants Association, and Tucson Comic-Con. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses wishing to make a difference for animals in Pima County.
