Every pet served by Pima Animal Care Center is supported with the resources needed for a safe, healthy, and happy future.
What We Do
Friends of PACC was created in 2016 as the non-profit fundraising partner for the Pima Animal Care Center, the only open-admission shelter in Pima County. We exist solely to support PACC’s efforts to help save the lives of at-risk animals and keep pets in their homes. Learn more in our Case for Support: Give Pets a Chance.

Key Statistics That Guide Our Work
Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) takes in over 19,000 pets in need every year.
More than 25% of the pets who come into PACC every year require serious medical care.
One-third of the pets who come into PACC every year are saved as a direct result of the support and programming provided by Friends of PACC.
Use of Funds
32% of our budget support non-medical care for vulnerable pets at PACC or at risk of surrender
26% of our budget supports medical care for PACC animals and Karen's Karing Kan
21% of our budget is for special projects to enhance lifesaving at PACC and in the community
14% of our budget is for administrative costs
7% of our budget is allocated to fundraising, marketing, and events
Press Inquiries
Friends of PACC has a variety of visual assets (i.e. photos, logos, graphics, etc.) available for media upon request. To make a request, please fill out the Media Request Form.
Please include information stating the desired assets and explain the intended usage and potential exposure of the assets. Permission to access the desired assets will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
