Mission PAWsible

Mission PAWsible helps find homes for hard-to-place felines, such as mature cats, cats with medical-needs, long timers, and under-socialized, paired, and in-foster cats, through special marketing and events. 

Support for Mission PAWsible also helps with cat medical needs, enrichment, behavior, and community education. 

Petey the cat arrived with a bad neck wound and a serious need for some dental care. A loving foster mom quickly took him home to help tend to his wounds.

Like a lot of the adult cats that come into the shelter, Petey needed a Total Mouth Extraction, or TME, to remove all of his painful and infected teeth. Once he recovered from his surgery, Petey was a whole new cat! He was able to eat without pain and get all the nutrients he needed for his neck to heal. TMEs are time intensive surgeries that are lifesaving for older cats and cats who have suffered a lifetime of poor care and nutrition.
