Medical Needs
Meet just a few of the pets currently being cared for by Pima Animal Care Center that are in need of extra support. Donations to Friends of PACC ensure that when pets with critical injuries or illness require support from specialty or outside clinics they get the care they need right away.
Your donations make it possible to care for thousands of abandoned, injured, neglected, and seriously ill pets.
Poppie
Poppie was likely hit by a car, and thankfully a kind-hearted person found her and brought her to PACC. The clinic is fighting hard for this pup. She can’t move her back legs and it is unclear yet if they will ever be functional again. However, thanks to donations we can get her in to see our mobility specialist friends at A Loyal Companion. There’s a good chance she’ll need to use a wheelchair for the rest of her life and your donations will help cover that and more.
Will you get Poppie some wheels?
Maynard
Maynard is a happy kitty that loves people. He has a mass on his left rear paw and needs an amputation, but he is anemic and this has to improve before surgery. He also has feline leukemia. Despite all of this, Maynard has a positive outlook on life. He is always happy to see his friends who come to visit him. He is a very friendly boy! Maynard is waiting for a foster home so he can work on improving his anemia.
Will you help Maynard get all the care he needs?
*Any donations exceeding the care of a specific pet will be applied to the needs of other pets at Pima Animal Care Center.
