New Pet Store at PACC Gives Back
Friends of Pima Animal Care Center have teamed up with Central Pet to bring an exciting new pet supply store to the lobby at Pima Animal Care Center. All of the merchandise in the new store, Central Pet: Adopt. Shop. Give., was chosen to set pet owners up for success with their new and/or existing furry friends.
“This store is another way we can help set PACC pets up for success in their new homes,” says Jennifer Camano, Executive Director of Friends of PACC.
The store offers top-of-the-line enrichment items, toys, bones, treats, collars, and leashes at prices that are competitive with other local pet stores. Pet foster parents are also in luck as the store is a one-stop shop for supplies like kitten formula, bottles, bowls, and beds—as well as puppy and kitten food. There are many unique items that can’t be found anywhere else in town, and we’re always open to suggestions for new products.
A generous 50% of the proceeds goes to Friends of PACC and right back into the shelter to help homeless pets in need so shoppers can get their essential (and fun!) supplies while helping PACC pets. Kristen Auerbach, Director of PACC suggests that “while you’re here, you can purchase a toy or treats from the store for our shelter pets!” says PACC Director Kristen Auerbach.
The store is open seven days a week during PACC’s regular operating hours. A grand opening celebration with a live radio broadcast, food, fun, and prizes will be held at the store on October 20th! See details below…
