Friends of PACC hires new Executive Director, Jennifer Camano, CFRE

A longtime Tucson resident and alumna of the University of Arizona, Jennifer Camano, CFRE is the new Executive Director for Friends of Pima Animal Care Center, or Friends of PACC. Jennifer is an experienced development professional who has been an integral part of the Tucson non-profit community since 2003.

An (almost) native, Jennifer has most recently served as a major gift officer for the American Red Cross across 7 Southern Arizona counties. Prior to the Red Cross, she worked as directors of development for the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center and UA Presents, as well as the Children’s Museum Tucson. In the early 2000s, she began and directed several large Department of Education grants for a new charter high school, City High, now operating in its 12th year.

Her expertise lies in developing systems for new organizations, identifying opportunities for new funding, and creating authentic relationships between donors and charities. She is passionate about raising funds for a variety of worthy causes that make our community a better place to live. She lives with her two daughters and two dogs.
